PHOTO CUTLINE: Eric Hickerson of Linden, TN has climbed into the third spot of the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Modified Sportsman National point standings and into contention for the National Championship. An administrative error at the Crate Racin’ USA Adairsville office omitted a Double Feature race on September 26 at Tennessee National Raceway in Hohenwald, TN that Hickerson won in the #11 By Pass Market and Deli Special. After the series corrected and updated the points, Hickerson now has 544 points and is six points away from a Perfect Season with four weeks left in the 22-week season.
