ADAIRSVILLE, GA - The three Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Modified Sportsman Week 19 races were all rained out by remnants of Hurricane Delta. Therefore, the point standings remain unchanged. The complete point standings through Week 18 of the 22-week 2020 season are posted at www.crateracinusa.com.
The Week 19 rainouts have necessitated Double Features this Saturday night at Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, TN. Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS will run a Week 5 Make Up Race this Friday night, and their regularly scheduled Week 20 race on Saturday night.
Week 20 will be the final week of the 22-week season that tracks can schedule Double Feature events to make-up rained out events. Scottie Hiett of Wedowee, AL, defending National Champion Luke Riddle of Hartselle, AL and Eric Hickerson of Linden, TN will be battle for the 2020 Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Modified Sportsman National Championship.
